Finger Painting

Aunt Lesa sent finger paints ages ago and this is the first time we have used them. Some of Glenn's friends came over and they had a blast.

Glenn's masterpiece

Hunting near Choma, Zambia

Zach took Glenn and I out in the bush to hang out while he went bow hunting. It was a very beautiful place and we all had fun. Here are some pictures of his Eland...it is a different kind than the one he got in South Africa...but I can't remember the name;-)
They are MASSIVE animals!

Big boy haircut

Zach has been wanting to buzz Glenn's hair for a long time - over a year. I kept saying, "Wait until he is 2."
Well, 2 came faster then I thought it would, so here are some pictures of the big event.
The razor ran out of juice half way through so they had to take a break.
Now this is service in style!
Apparently getting your hair cut is really tiring work!
I think it makes him look older and Zach thinks it makes him look younger - we both agree he is pretty cute with his new do!

More SD fun

Glenn really enjoyed his first ice cream come - sure he has had ice cream before, but never his very own cone!

Hanging with Sophia in the park - wonder what they are talking about?

Treasure Map

Glenn is VERY into Thomas the train these days (some might even say he is a bit obsessed!) One of his favorite things to do is look at the sheet of paper that comes with each train. It shows a picture of the other trains and lists their names. He likes to have it with him wherever he goes. He calls it his treasure map - he is also a bit into pirates.
If you are caught setting you are subject to have him on your lap and you too will be memorizing trains and names.
Nana ended up laminating him a copy because the rest were being torn and dropped in the wading pool and we were beginning to run out of tape.

Strolling along...

The kids thought being in the strollers was a very fun thing to do so that is where they and we spent a lot of time.
Very hard work!

Fun with the cousins

We had a great time with Lesa, Eric, Sophia and Abby while we were home!
Here is a pic of the kids on Nana's swing.
