Palm Sunday Parade

On Palm Sunday there was parade after on the road to our house.

We were surprised at the length - it really was a lot of people

There was no one to direct traffic, so we followed the crowd;-)

It was pretty to watch - very colorful and everyone seemed very happy!

Sleepies

We went to the river over Easter weekend and G made sure to get in enough shut eye. This picture was on the boat. He was setting on the bottom falling asleep and would get REALLY mad if one of us tried to pick him up or lay him down - he was NOT going to have a nap!

Another day on the boat he finally gave in and let mommy hold him.

In the car on the way surrounded by blankie, puppy and pillow - the essentials for any good nap!

Color color

Nenn's favorite activity these days is coloring...it's the first thing he asks to do it the morning and after naps. We take them to restaurants and it keeps him busy enough time for mommy and daddy to actually eat their food!

He gets very serious

We end up taking them away several times a day because it is SO hard to remember only to color on the paper and not the couch, walls, carpet and our toys and books - Mommy loves washable crayons!!!

The carter's have a new pet tortoise. One of the guys Zach works with bought it for Glenn - I assume off the side of the road.

Now we spend a lot of time trying to find him behind the bushes and figuring out what he likes to eat.

He is warming up to us a bit and even comes out of his shell a little when we are around.

Glenn really likes to talk to and 'pet' him;-)
