Protea Safari Lodge

On Sunday we drove about 45 minutes out of Lusaka to the Protea Safari Lodge to get out of town and have lunch. It was a very peaceful place to relax, watch some wildlife and enjoy great food.

Eating out in Lusaka

We went out for Chinese food on Saturday night and while we were there the electricity went out. It usually happens several times a day and Glenn is so used to it at home that is doesn't seem to bother him much anymore. We were waiting in the dark for the generator to come on so they brought a candle to the table and G thought that was pretty cool! We enjoyed a nice candle lit dinner for three;-)

Kitchen Aid

Glenn loves to 'help' Mommy in the kitchen. Most of the time he is following me around asking for 'cheez, cheez!'

Booster Seat

We are all very happy to have our booster seat back! Glenn has to eat almost before he even wakes up in the morning so he is a bit dazed in the last picture. He is sharing his breakfast with his buddy in the first. Rufus loves meal time!

Fix it Men

No more water bottles for us! Our water distiller finally came in and Glenn was helping Daddy install it. He really just wants to pull the water hose away from the wall (it is secured to the wall under the cabinets by duct tape;-)

Glenn's first fishing trip

Sunday morning we took Glenn 'fishing'. We didn't catch anything, but it was a beautiful morning and Glenn had fun, when he was awake;-)
