Pink

Glenn's new favorite drinks are strawberry milkshakes and smoothies. He calls them 'pink' and asks for one whenever we go out to eat. It is the beverage that encouraged him to learn to drink from a straw.

We still have to hold it or it gets everywhere...but he feels the need to keep his little paws on it for fear that it might just disappear!

Bad Mommy and Daddy

POOR GLENN! We went to the pool one weekend near the house we used to live in and Glenn was playing with some 'flowers'. He LOVES to pick flowers and smell them. We were watching him and when we left didn't notice he had one still in his hand. In the car on the 5 minute ride home, he started SCREAMING. He had put it in his mouth. The first thing we though is that he had eaten something poisonous. Super scary!!! he was drooling all over and kept trying to get something off his tongue - there was nothing in there! We looked it up on the internet and Zach went back to get more so we could have someone identify the 'flower'. It ended up being a very tiny red chili pepper...YIKES. The oil from it had gotten all over in his mouth when he bit into it and then spread everywhere his drool or hands were (his hands, chest, legs) - including onto mommy and daddy. Oh the burn. We called Zach's dad because he cooks with them a lot and he told us to put some yogurt on it. We did and it felt better. The red was gone by morning, but the trauma for us was not;-)

We FINALLY got Glenn's little coup car on the last container and he and Daddy spent an evening putting it together.

He had to do everything in it - including eat- for several days

Once the newness wore off...it was all about the box;-)

Play Dates

The new year has brought us many new friends!!! We are very happy to have filled some of our free time with a new play-date on Thursday mornings.

When it is raining out, we play at one of the local indoor cafes.

As always we play every afternoon with Luke and Tammi

We have new neighbors from South Africa - BIG KIDS!!!!
