September for Glenn

September was pretty busy for Glenn. He got a new bike that Daddy helped him put together...

is really into showing his muscles...

and loves to pile all the pillows into the middle of the floor for a soft landing off the couches.

He also likes to decorate pictures of himself with a fun app.

Furniture Shopping

Last weekend we went shopping for some furniture for the house. It was a few miles out of the city and a very different part of town than we were used to! They took us to a warehouse full of antique doors, windows and new furniture they had constructed out of the old stuff. Garrett was clinging to Daddy the whole visit, letting him down was not an option.

The craftsmanship of the wood pieces is amazing!

Glenn had a blast on our adventure

This huge bench is one that we brought home...the boys love playing on it and it is big enough to be used as a spare bed in a pinch.

We bought some funny glasses off the side of the road and Glenn and Daddy were kind enough to model them for us - too funny!

One of Glenn's classmates had a birthday party at school, Glenn had two pieces of cake and ran around the room with the other kids like a crazy man!

Getting used to our new place

Garrett's favorite place in the house is at the windows so he can keep and eye on the puppies and the yard.

Glenn is very into playing dress up - but never with pants!

We drove up into the mountains one weekend, but Glenn got VERY car sick on the curvy roads and the fog was pretty thick so we couldn't see very far...the cow in the road was the highlight of Glenn's trip.

Glenn's first day of 'pretty school'

Well, Glenn had his first day of preschool yesterday. He LOVED it and had no problem leaving mommy! When I was going out the door he said, 'have a nice trip mom.'

He was practicing wearing his backpack the night before, you know it always helps to be prepared;-)

His school is great and there are so many learning opportunities for the kids.

This is what little man does now during the day without big brother...he is stuck with mommy for a few years yet! Pulling up and standing at the couch is a new favorite.
